During our interview we discussed a number of important issues the first of which was how much I appreciated the decision of the Center for Security Policy to name the Secure the Grid coalition the Pry Project after our recently passed courageous and heroic Executive Director, Dr. Peter Pry who spent his life as a tireless patriot in defense of our great country. Peter was a clear-eyed foreign policy realist like Ronald Reagan and a brilliant national security strategist. He knew that America lacks the capability to serve as the world's policeman and defend every country in the world from Russia and China and indeed it was not in our national interests to do so. He was a great friend and a mentor to me and we thought the same way on all matters of national security strategy. Here are some other points we touched on during the show and a number of others which we unfortunately didn’t have time to discuss.
The Increasing Threat Posed by the Sino-Russian Alliance
One of the biggest things that Peter was concerned about was the Sino-Russian alliance, warning that it was on the verge of achieving nuclear supremacy over the U.S. Back in 2000, I stated that the greatest existential threat the US would face in the 21st century would be the Sino-Russian military alliance. At that time, I stated that the most important national security imperative would be to divide and disrupt the Sino Russian alliance. Months later they signed a formal alliance agreement and are now on the verge of achieving nuclear superiority over us. U.S. leaders only belatedly began waking up to the threat posed by the Sino-Russian alliance last year. Admiral Richard, commander of U.S. Strategic Command, stated last year that the US had no strategy for deterring or fighting two allied nuclear superpowers at all. The Sino-Russian alliance currently enjoys strategic nuclear supremacy over the U.S. as well as theater nuclear supremacy, nuclear hypersonic missile supremacy and of course EMP supremacy as we have no super EMP weapons and have no plans to develop any.
