General Flynn Praises "Real War" Editor David Pyne Stating He Would Not Participate in a High-Level Briefing Without Having Him In the Room Due to His Expertise
Including a copy of my latest national security briefing, Real War Chat subscriber questions and answers and my responses to questions posed by a recent international media agency.
On March 24th, near the end of General Michael Flynn’s Show “Inside the SCIF”, Patriot TV CEO Brannon Howse stated “I’m going to be joined by Colonel Rob Maness and by David Pyne in just a moment for World News Report Sunday.” General Flynn replied, “People should stay on with Brannon and Patriot TV here and listen to this exchange. I am going to tell you the guys he is bringing on this morning are two people that I would consider experts. In fact, I wouldn’t sit in a room without bringing these guys in just simply because of their expertise because I do know and understand what my limitations are.“ Then, during my interview with Brannon and Colonel Rob Maness, Brannon stated although I am not currently hosting a show on Patriot TV, maybe I should have my own show.
Shortly after the attacks, General Flynn posted on X, courageously attacking the Biden administration for funding both sides of Iran’s proxy war with Israel including propping up Iran’s satellite state in Iraq and funding a proxy war with Russia in Ukraine in opposition to US national security interests. His critique of President Joe Biden is very well founded in view of the administration’s decision to pay $6 billion for the release of six American hostages, to unfreeze Iran’s bank accounts totaling $10 billion and its decision to drop sanctions on Iran allowing to obtain $80 billion in revenue from oil sales all of which it has used to fund its proxy attacks on the US and Israel in the Middle East and likely fund its nuclear missile program as well.
I am very humbled and honored that General Flynn thinks highly of me given all of his considerable military and intelligence expertise though I think that his comment was probably more directed at Colonel Rob Maness (USAF Ret), who is a great patriot and one of America’s foremost nuclear war experts, than myself. General Flynn has been one of my longtime America First conservative heroes and I want to thank him for this compliment as well as for all he has sacrificed for our great country during his thirty-three years of service in uniform and since! I have long admired his courage and bravery demonstrated by his willingness to speak truth to power regardless of the cost to himself personally.
General Flynn served as DIA Director under former President Barack Obama so when Trump chose him as his National Security Advisor, the Deep State panicked because he knew all about Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s many corrupt scandals and supported Trump’s plan to make peace with Russia. Shortly after he was sworn in as National Security Advisor they sent FBI Director James Comey to attempt to take him down on a bogus charge. Thankfully, he was subsequently exonerated. It is tragic that President Trump’s best National Security Advisor by far was forced to resign after just 24 days as the prime target of the Deep State in the first of their illegal and unconstitutional attempts to subvert our constitutional republic and take down the President of the United States. President Trump would be wise to hire back as National Security Advisor or else appoint him as White House Chief of Staff or Secretary of Defense! For anyone who is interested there is an excellent full-length movie about General Flynn available for purchase on Youtube.
With General Michael Flynn at a political conference in Salt Lake City in October 2021
Here is a link his discussion with General Flynn in which the General made this statement along with a link to my interview which followed with COL Ron Maness (USA Ret) and Brannon Howse on his Sunday Morning show on Patriot TV discussing likely Ukrainian involvement in the terrorist attack at the Moscow suburb concert hall as well as the implications of the Russian declaration of war against NATO in Ukraine.
Real War Chat Group Questions and Answers
For those of you who aren’t aware yet on April 26th, I created a new chat group for subscribers of The Real War newsletter. I have decided to post questions from subscribers and my answers from our new Real War Chat over the past week or so that I have grouped into topics which might be of interest to our readers.
US Grand Strategy Questions
The US gave weapons and advanced military technology to the PRC in an attempt to counter the Soviet Union. Do you think that was a wise policy to pursue?
No, I strongly opposed US direct military aid to the PRC from 1981-1989. Back in 1986, I took a newspaper article to my Congressman's office in DC in February that year that revealed Reagan was sending advanced military avionics tech to the PRC and asked him if it was true and he lied to my face. The ostensibly anti-Communist Reagan administration armed the PRC and the Islamic Republic of Iran with billions of dollars of direct military aid while also giving military aid to prop up Communist Mozambique against RENAMO freedom fighters all of which I had huge problems with at the time. George HW Bush continued sharing military technology with the PRC until June 1989 but the US and US companies have transferred hundreds of billions if not trillions of dollars’ worth of dual-use military tech to Beijing since. Liberal US leaders have often proven to be our worst enemies and that has never been more the case with America's Manchurian President today who in my estimation represents the greatest domestic national security threat the US has ever faced in its history.
“All the posts here make the case that the only saying US policy is one of neutralism. Prove me wrong.”
The US would have been far better off to have pursued a policy of neutrality during the 20th century. If we had the Soviet Union, Communist China, North Korea and Nazi Germany likely never would have existed and the US would have no enemies let alone nuclear-armed adversaries today. We should be neutral in the Russo-Ukrainian War for sure. We should also condition US military aid to Israel and them ending the war in Gaza. Finally, we should declare that the US will not defend Taiwan militarily. I also think the US would be better off to leave NATO and conclude a mutual security agreement with Russia and make a deal with NK to pull our troops out of South Korea. But I don't believe the US should withdraw its nuclear umbrella over its Pacific allies.
The War in Ukraine
“(The) United States made the biggest strategical mistake in engaging against Russia in Ukraine, do you think that the (West) will be buried in Ukraine, US is bankrupt financially and military?”
I think that the US is once again bankrupting itself fighting no-win wars, albeit by proxy this time around, in opposition to US national interests. Biden has fallen into the trap the PRC has set for us to bog us down to the maximum extent and for as long as possible in fighting regional wars in the belief that the US will be unable to respond effectively to China's planned blockade and/or invasion of Taiwan this fall. My concern is not so much how much we are spending and how much we are unilaterally disarming the US military by sending vast quantities of our most advanced weapons to Ukraine but that we have pushed Russia further into China's arms, rather than splitting the Sino-Russian military alliance as I have been advocating since at least 2003 by establishing a grand partnership for peace with the Russian Federation, which may cause them to join the PRC in destroying the US in the event Biden makes good on his repeated pledges to defend Taiwan militarily.
How can Russia be so powerful militarily if it can’t even defeat weak Ukraine?
I felt the same way until I realized how limited Russia's military objectives really are. Russia could defeat Ukraine in a single week or maybe a single day using either a massive cyber and counterspace attack (against Western satellites aiding Ukraine's war effort, a super-EMP weapon, or one or more tactical nuclear weapons. Russia has 4.5 times more nuclear weapons than the US and 35 times more non-strategic nuclear weapons which are far more advanced than our obsolescent B-61 gravity bombs that could be destroyed with only five Russian hypersonic nuclear warheads. They also have the ability to overrun the eastern half of Ukraine to the Dnipro River and likely much of central Ukraine as well including Kyiv. Western leaders wrongly claim that Putin's war aims are nothing less than the conquest of all of Ukraine when in fact Russia's aims have been primarily defensive all along merely limited to reversing Ukraine's de facto NATO membership with a peace agreement in which they agree to end the NATO military and CIA presence (both troops and bases) in Ukraine. The Russian military strategy which is best explained in the book "The Russian Art of War--How the West Led Ukraine to Defeat."
Russia has been offering peace with Ukraine continuously since the day after it invaded and on extremely favorable terms to Ukraine (e.g. a withdrawal of Russian troops to Russia's prewar borders in exchange for Ukraine's permanent neutrality outside of NATO) until late September 2022. Since then, it has offered an armistice along the line of control which would keep Ukraine secure and independent with 82% of its internationally recognized territory but Biden has continued to veto any agreement which expels the NATO military presence from Ukraine. So, Russia has engaged in a strategy designed to conserve Russia's manpower and force Ukraine to engage in repeated offensives which have enabled Russia to inflict over three times more Ukrainian casualties as it has suffered to date. I am predicting a large-scale Russian summer offensive to conquer eastern Ukraine to the Dnipro and encircle tens of thousands of Ukrainian troops now that they are running desperately low on men with over half of their army taken out of action and only months away from military collapse.
“Do you think US soviet relations were ever as bad during the Cold War as US Russia relations are now? It appears there is zero communication between Biden and Putin.”
US relations with the Soviet Union haven't been this bad not even during the Cuban Missile Crisis when JFK reached out to Khrushchev to resolve the nuclear crisis peacefully by accommodating the USSR. Biden on the other hand has refused to even talk to Putin since December 2021 which is why we came close to nuclear war in October 2022. He will undoubtedly go down in history as the worst President in US history.
“What happened on October 2022 that nearly caused nuclear war?”
Read my article, “Why NATO Warnings of a Coming Nuclear World War with Russia Might End Up Being a Self-Fulfilling Prophecy” to find out.
“Some reports suggest that President Biden intends to send US forces to Ukraine to intervene directly in the war if he wins reelection in November Do you consider that this is likely?”
No, I think its more likely that Biden green lights Ukraine negotiating a peace deal with Russia after the election. I cant imagine the US sending troops to fight Russia in Ukraine but I think its possible that Biden would approve a no-fly zone over western and central Ukraine to try to prevent Russia from taking Kyiv which would risk the outbreak of World War Three.
Communist Chinese Threat
“US official estimates are that the PRC has about 400 warheads This seems a low warhead count for China to risk war over Taiwan. Many commentators suggest most of the silos are empty and China lacks the warheads for the silos.”
That is total disinformation on the part of the US intelligence agencies which is heavily biased in favor of the PRC and is guilty of constant threat deflation when it comes to China's massively increasing military might. The silos are mostly full of missiles and China has had the ability to produce thousands of nuclear warheads for many years. Admiral Richard, former STRATCOM commander said that China's nuclear buildup would be mostly complete by early 2024 and fully completed by 2025. China has built 360 DF-41 ten warhead ICBM silos which will give them 3600 new strategic nuclear warheads. They are also building another 500 SLBM warheads and they already had about 1000 nukes before their massive nuclear buildup even began. So thats why I estimate the PRC likely has over 2.5 times operationally deployed nukes than we do.
“So you think China blockade Taiwan this year ?”
Yes I am predicting China will likely blockade Taiwan in October before the 2024 presidential election as I wrote in my recent article., entitled “China Preparing an "October Surprise" for Taiwan Including Blockade and Final Demand for Reunification to Avert War”
“Can you explain why China would do this? Would this not relit in massive US sanctions and the confiscation of its US bonds and removal from SWIFT?”
Yes, it would but China has amassed vast stocks of food, fuel and other raw materials to enable it to ride out massive US sanctions or else a full-scale world war. The reason China would do it is because they have spent the last 75 years preparing to retake Taiwan by force if necessary and their massive nuclear buildup will be completed within a year after which their operationally deployed nuclear arsenal will be over three times larger than ours . They have the largest army, navy, coast guard and nuclear-capable ballistic missile force in the world. Their industrial manufacturing base is over twice as large as ours. They have a number of super weapons that could destroy the US with little to no warning in a nuclear-EMP-cyber-counterspace first strike and they have Russia as a close military ally to support them. There is zero chance that the US could defend Taiwan militarily even if China did not escalate to the use of nuclear and super EMP weapons. To borrow an old Soviet term, the correlation of forces has shifted decisively to the PRC side.
“Responsible Statecraft published an article last year (https://responsiblestatecraft.org/2023/05/15/could-a-us-china-war-begin-over-the-philippines/ ) speculating that a conflict over the Philippines could embroil us in a war with China. Wouldn't it be better to exclude Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, New Zealand and Australia from our sphere of influence?”
No, I do not support excluding our four Pacific treaty allies from the US sphere of influence and I don’t think we need to do that to avert World War Three with the PRC. China has set Taiwan as its nuclear redline. We could also partition the South China Sea islands giving the PRC the islands in the Southwest China Sea while keeping the islands in the Southeast China Sea under US allied control. What I would support is that we withdraw the bulk of US ground troops from the region and establish a policy of strategic ambiguity with regards as to whether we would defend our Pacific Treaty allies including whether we would defend them with nuclear weapons similar to the policy we had from 1979-2021 when Biden changed our policy to strategic clarity that we would defend Taiwan militarily. The PRC has demonstrated no desire to date to invade or control any of our Pacific allies militarily outside of the unpopulated Japanese Senkaku islands and Filipino islands and coral reefs. I have also advocated we sign a peace treaty with the DPRK in which the US would withdrawal all US troops from the ROK in exchange for NK blowing up its nuclear facility and destroying or allowing us to shoot down their two super EMP satellites orbiting over the US.
“Would China and Russia target Australian cities like Melbourne or Sydney if they have a full scale war with the USA?”
Russia would not. However, China's former Defense Minister stated China needed the US, Canada and Australia for living space for its expanding population. Accordingly, if Australia joins the US to defend Taiwan militarily, China will invade and colonize it. If Australia does not fight China directly but still allows the US military to operate from its ports and bases to attack China, the PRC will likely respond by attacking and bombing those bases. I cannot say for sure if China would invade Australia under those circumstances but it would be wise for Australia to immediately negotiate a peace agreement with China if it gets attacked.
Iran Threat
“Why do you think Iran has nukes ? Most of the commentators like Scott Ritter say they don’t have any nukes.”
Here is an article published by former CIA Director James Woolsey stating that Iran most likely built nuclear weapons many years ago. Dr. Peter Pry has published a lot more from 2016-2022 before his untimely death from cancer. https://news.yahoo.com/iran-probably-already-bomb-192403407.html Iran reportedly started its nuclear program in 1990 in direct response to Operation Desert Shield. It bought three former Soviet tactical nuclear weapons from Iran in 1994. By 2003, it was reportedly only a few months away from weaponizing nuclear weapons the same year that US intelligence erroneously claims they suspended their nuclear program. In 2005, Iran began its ICBM program. No other nation in the world has ever had an ICBM program that was not already a nuclear power. A conventionally armed ICBM would be completely useless, yet Iran has demonstrated a latent ICBM capability with three satellite launches with the last couple of which being super-EMP satellites that could destroy the continental US without warning. We have been hearing that Iran is days to a few months away from producing nuclear weapons for at least the past 15 years, yet we are to believe that Iran suspended its nuclear weapons program when it has one of the largest nuclear capable ballistic missile arsenals in the world? It is implausible in the extreme to believe that the Iranian terror regime stopped its nuclear weapons program 21 years ago. The chances of them not having nukes are near zero IMHO.
Prospects for the Outbreak of World War Three
Do you think Biden or Trump is more likely to start World War Three with Russia or China?
I am old enough to recall a presidential campaign ad back in 1988 stating that it was Democrat Presidents that started every war in the 20th century and it was Republicans that ended them in Korea and Vietnam. Remember that it was a liberal Democrat President that started an unnecessary nuclear war and mass murdered 140,000 civilians using atomic bombs nearly eight decades ago. President Trump has been passionate about the need to avoid a world war with Russia and China. Republican presidents have always kept the nuclear peace and I am extremely confident that if Donald Trump were to be re-elected President, he would be no exception.
“Why does the US insist on fighting Russia and China in. Their backyards in Ukraine and Taiwan and at the end of US logistical supply lines?”
Because US leaders continue to stupidly believe like America Last Speaker Mike Johnson that the US is the mightiest military power on the planet and can push other countries around as it pleases with little to no fear of a nuclear response from our four nuclear adversaries which are all aligned together. The US globalist ruling elite of both major political parties are united in supporting liberal hegemony which seeks to exert US dominance over virtually the entire world outside of Russia, China, North Korea and Iran exerting overlapping spheres of influence with Russia and China in their geopolitical backyards, pushing our liberal empire to Russia's and China's borders and border seas, threatening to cross Moscow's and Beijing's nuclear redlines with potential catastrophic and existential consequences for the USA. US leaders refuse to give up their fanciful, imperialist dreams of a global empire stretching across the entire globe--a dream that began before World War Two was even over. The reality is that both Russia and China alone far exceed the US in aggregate combat power including nuclear, nuclear hypersonic missiles, orbital nuclear weapons and super-EMP weapons so it would behoove US leaders to stop engaging in nuclear brinkmanship with Russia and China given that there is no chance we could defeat them and little chance we could survive a war with them.
“Biden seems to think the US has overwhelming military power the says the US can do anything it puts its mind to. Do you think Biden thinks that if it came to it the US and it’s NATO allies plus Japan and Australia could Defeat China and Russia and North Korea in a general war?”
I think he thinks the US alliance system is the most powerful militarily but he understands that a direct war with Russia or China would likely go nuclear.
The Existential Nuclear and Super-EMP Threat
“Have you heard of any effort to monitor our southern skies for [nuclear] hypersonic [missile launches]?”
No, I am pretty sure we have nothing like that. Our missile detection systems along our southern border are pretty much non-existent unfortunately which is why NK super EMP satellites have a polar orbit and come up across our southern border where they could stage a super-EMP attack against CONUS with zero warning. The US has been extremely vulnerable to nuclear and super EMP attack since 1951 when the Soviets began producing their first nuclear capable strategic bomber. The US is at extreme risk from Russian, Chinese, North Korean and Iranian super-EMP satellites and orbital nuclear weapons that could destroy the US without warning from space but US leaders are doing nothing whatsoever to counter this existential threat.
John Plumb, the assistant secretary of defense for space policy stated at a House Armed Services Committee meeting last week that Russian nuclear-armed space satellite could render low-earth orbit unusable for a year or more. This is not a future threat. This an imminent threat because this is technology Russia has had since 1967 when they first put a nuclear weapon in orbit. During House Armed Services Committee hearings on the 2025 Department of Defense budget on April 30th, Rep. Mike Turner said he considers Russian super-EMP satellites “the Cuban Missile Crisis in space and this administration is sleepwalking itself into an international crisis.” Turner is right to make the comparison to the crisis that came close to starting a nuclear war between the US and the Soviet Union over six decades ago. However, he neglects to note that it is not just Russian super EMP satellites in low-earth orbit that could destroy the US but Chinese, North Korean and Iranian super-EMP weapons in space that could do so as well. Having enemy super EMP satellites in space ready to destroy the US with zero warning are akin to having not just Russian nuclear missiles in Cuba but also Chinese, North Korean and Iranian nuclear missiles in Cuba with the President blowing it off as no big deal.
What has Russia and China done to harden its critical infrastructure against the threat of EMP attack?
Unlike US leaders, Russian political and military leaders, and likely Chinese leaders as well, believe that nuclear wars can be fought and won by the side that best prepares for them and so they have deployed thousands of ABM interceptors and blast shelters to protect against the existential threat of nuclear missile attack. Russian, Chinese, North Korean and Iranian leaders have highlighted super EMP attack as one of the most potent weapons in their arsenals to swiftly defeat the US. When Russia and China were doing joint military exercises in the summer of 2018, there were articles of how they were practicing EMP drills. They ran cable lines, worked on power plants during those exercises and there were articles all over the internet about their EMP drills. Russia is also the biggest manufacturer of vacuum tubes which are essentially EMP proof, yet more evidence of their preparations to defend their nation against nuclear and EMP effects. We know that Russia, China as well as North Korea and Israel have hardened virtually all of their critical infrastructure against EMP attack and likely against cyber-attack as well. This was something that our late Executive Director Dr. Peter Pry referenced in his interviews and articles.
How to Avert World War Three and Ensure our National Survival
On April 18th, I gave my latest National Security Briefing Update entitled “How to Avert World War Three and Ensure our National Survival” at the Firm Foundation Expo in South Jordan, Utah. It includes an overview of modern US history detailing how the US came to adopt a foreign policy of endless war during World War Two that has transformed the world into a much more dangerous place in which the US faces an opposing military alliance of four nuclear adversaries each with the capability to destroy us. Had the US remained neutral during World War I, none of these nuclear adversaries would likely exist today. In this briefing, I reveal “the Big Lie” which the neocons have used to justify nearly all US wars over the past eight decades and include a timeline of all of America’s disastrous wars since. It discusses how globalist US leaders transformed post-Soviet Russia from a friend to an enemy and the five biggest mistakes made by US leaders over the past few decades that effectively squandered our Cold War victory over the Soviet Union and lost the post-Cold War peace.
History provides us a stark warning as what America’s fate might be if we continue pursuing Biden’s policy of national suicide in provoking simultaneous wars with Russia and China. On the eve of a potential Third World War, the US finds itself in almost exactly the same position as Imperial Germany was in 1914 on the eve of the First World War as we have the second largest economy, the second largest industrial base and the second largest merchant fleet but facing an existential threat from a far more powerful enemy alliance consisting of four great powers. But because Germany stumbled into an unnecessary world war with militarily superior enemies, Germany was defeated, disarmed and dismembered only five years later leaving it defenseless against successive enemy invasions even from minor powers.
Germany’s failure to renew its Reinsurance Treaty of 1887 with Russia caused it to ally with France and Britain and encircle Germany leading to the outbreak of World War One and Germany to lose over a third of its territory in two world wars and nearly a quarter of its population from 1918-1945. Likewise, America’s failure to ally or partner with Russia in the 1990s caused it to ally with China against us. The US risks losing most of our territory and ninety percent of our population if we stumble into war with the Sino-Russian alliance. To help us avert Germany’s fate, we need a modern-day Reinsurance Treaty with Russia that says if China attacks us, Russia will remain neutral in order to neutralize the Sino-Russian military alliance as well as a limited sphere of influence agreement with China that the US would agree to support an EU style solution to the Taiwan issue in exchange for China agreeing to a massive reduction of its growing influence in the Western Hemisphere, most importantly transferring control of the Panama Canal ports back to the US.
The briefing also details the origins of the Second Cold War. It also details how the Biden administration deliberately provoked Russia to invade Ukraine and then torpedoed the March 2022 peace agreement written by Zelensky himself, signed by the Russians, that would have committed Russia to withdraw all of its troops to its prewar borders in exchange for permanent Ukrainian neutrality outside of NATO. It details Russia’s and China’s plans to join together to defeat us in war using their nuclear superweapons including their devastatingly powerful super EMP weapons if the US opts to fight them directly. It includes real-world solutions to end Biden’s proxy war with Russia in Ukraine, end the Israel-Gaza War and resolve the Taiwan issue in a way that preserves Taiwanese self-rule while averting an unnecessary nuclear war between the US and the PRC. Finally, it includes my grand strategy to divide the Sino-Russian military alliance and prevent China from becoming the global hegemon.
