"Putin is a brutal Dictator?"

What is the US and UK then?

Yes Putin is a brutal, authoritarian leader and de-facto dictator because he imprisons or bans his opponents from running. Biden is trying to follow his lead and is certainly an authoritarian leader as well as I point out in my article.

One more question. Many States have tried to ban Trump. The Supreme Court has not allowed this for once I agree with them.

How is it that Assange and others are imprisoned in the USA?

Not much different in my opinion.

I am typically very Left in my views, but not on this issue of the origins of the Ukraine conflict. What first opened my mind was learning that William Perry, Clinton’s Secretary of Defense, warned Clinton to never raise the possibility of Ukraine joining NATO as it was a red line for Russian leadership, and this was prior to Putin’s ascent. Perry went on to stress that his reasoning was that he’d spent his entire career trying to have fewer nuclear weapons pointed at America. He clearly saw the potential for a nuclear conflict with Russia if we pushed NATO all the way to Ukraine. In an interview just a few years ago he said he regretted not resigning when Clinton ignored his advice. And now look where we are.

trump is already spreading lies in his quest to subvert democracy in the US. You don't need to help him, pyne. Hoping for a job cracking innocents' heads next year, perhaps?

Very true. It's important we hear Russia's side of the war if wr have any hope of ending it with a negotiated settlement averting World War 3.
