Yes we live in an alternate reality believing all the propaganda we are fed by the Biden regime and their neocon GOP allies deceived into supporting their policy of national suicide. Time for Americans to wake up before its too late and demand we pursue a national security strategy that puts America First and support peace through strength instead of Biden's policy of war through weakness.

Very badly indeed David!

The problem is that this new generation has no idea how terrible a world war can be. Most of us have never even felt hunger and our biggest complaint is the lineup at Starbucks.

We snowflakes here in North America seem to think we are invincible. Nothing would even come close to a comparison of utter destruction should China decide to unleash its nuclear arsenal.

And of course, we have also succeeded in pushing Russia into buddying up with China.

Great...just great. Well done NATO.

Now just might be a good time to at least get our Spiritual lives in order. It's the one long-lasting thing we can control and is not dependent on the whims or poor decisions of our great political "leaders".

Well said, as always Mr.Pyne!

I fear Biden is going to get us all vaporized if he continues to posture and threaten China militarily. This is insane.

Biden may be a weak and delusional bumbling puppet, but unfortunately his handlers are pandering to war mongers on the Ukraine front. Talk about mission creep. The human loss and mounting injuries in Ukraine is staggering yet they press on continuing the madness.

China is taking notes. The world is watching.

Time to invest in a Bunker?

I am so sick of news against China..........most times I want to screeeeam!

They are not an ideal 'bedfellow' but neither are the US.

Biden has mismanaged world affairs and my ongoing fear is that the next conflict will be supporting Taiwan. Old warmongers need to go.

Definitely time to invest in a rural underground bunker! My biggest fear is that Biden will forget who pays his bills and start a foolhardy war with China over Taiwan that we have no choice of winning. That would end very badly for us.

Great work. My only concern is the Hong Kong-ization of Taiwan, basically turning it into just a CCP province

So let it be.........nothing to do with the US.

Except the 'chips' of course.

Better than the alternatives which are nuclear war if we defend Taiwan or if Taiwan resists alone immediate Communization of the island nation.

As Alexis de Tocqueville argued in his iconic "Democracy in America" nearly two centuries ago, freedom of expression doesn't exist in democracies. Interestingly, he also observed that traditional autocracies merely enslave the body, whereas democracies enslave the soul.

As recently as the 1980's freedom of speech was not only encouraged, it was a liberal Democrat tenet and ideal. Now, its considered misinformation.to say anything contrary to the Biden regime and the Democrat socialist party.

I live in France. I read what Sarkozy said ..........fortunately no-one believes anything he says any more.

Of course we must persue Peace. However the Biden administration doesn't seem to want peace. There is an election coming soon.

Yes that was an excellent article which I am citing in a future piece I am working on. Sarkozy is 100% right of course that we must negotiate an armistice with Russia. There is no point in continuing this pointless war any longer now that Ukraine has proven militarily incapable of liberating any additional territory from Russia.

I look forward to that piece!

In the same context, David, what's your take on Gen Mark Milley similarly being put back in his box at the end of last year when he suggested (after Ukraine's two tactical victories, or perhaps Russia's sensible withdrawals from overstretch, take your pick) that it was a good opportunity to negotiate from relative strength?

I despise Milley but he was absolutely right. Ukraine reached its high-water mark in November 2022 following the end of the Kherson offensive and it has failed to achieve any significant territorial gains since. The White House said they disagreed with Milley but then two months later they sent CIA Director William Burns to deliver a peace offer from Biden to Russia and Ukraine which reportedly would have allowed Russia to keep all of its annexed territories.

Many thanks, David. I wasn't aware of the Burns offer.
